“You're the doctor”是什么意思？
最早的时候
You're the doctor出现在病人和医生的对话中
病人生病了去医院看病
医生通过问诊和身体检查以后
告诉病人接下来的治疗方案
这时，病人对医生说
“You're the doctor.”
表达“（因为你是医生）你说的都对”。
后来这句话在日常口语中
引申为“服从命令、听指挥”意思
相当于“你说的对，听你的”

英文词典里对go for the doctor是这样解释的：
To give something one's full effort or attention.
即：使某人全力做某事，或专注于某事

需要的东西；期望的东西
例：
